Bookmaker company BoyleSports expresseddissatisfaction with the sale of licensed stores of Ladbrokes and Coral to Betfred and StanJames bookmakers, as their price was higher than the final selling price.
Corresponding request BoyleSports sent to the authority on competition and markets (CMA), writes GamblingInsider.
Boylesports was one of a number of brands, who expressed interest in purchasing stores. The sale of PPP companies became a necessity for the positive conclusion of the deal, as the AGR stated that the merger between Ladbrokes and Coral could create competition problems in various locations throughout the UK.
Bookmaker believes that the application was fullyfinanced, and companies were aware of the decision of the AGR on the need to sell retail stores. Boylesports explained that it considered the event a bad event not only for the deal, but also for retail consumers.
The company announced its intention to officially register the problems that occurred in the authorized body (AGR).
As previously reported, Betfred and StanJames became buyers of Ladbrokes and Coral outlets. BC Betfred will acquire 322 PPP for $ 67 million, while StanJames will buy 37 stores for about $ 622 thousand.
